1) Why did you choose A Level Media Studies?

I chose A Level Media Studies because i felt that i could learn how to make content, I'm quite interested in film making and I believe i could use the skills i learn for marketing as well.  

2) Did you take GCSE Media Studies (either here at Greenford or a different school)?

i did not take media studies

3) If you answered yes to Q2, what grade did you achieve in GCSE Media? What coursework task did you complete? What would you say your strengths and weaknesses were in GCSE Media?

4) What grade do you hope to achieve in A Level Media?

i hope to achieve an A or A*

5) What are your current thoughts about your next steps after A Levels - university, apprenticeship, work?

I might go to university however I'm more inclined to go after an apprenticeship. I want get into marketing, finance, film making or journalism.

6) What do you think the biggest MEDIA story of 2026 has been and why?

I personally think the biggest media story of 2026 is the friction between the Greenlandic government and a Texas-based oil firm called Greenland energy. The reason why i believe it is the biggest media story is because Greenland energy is wants to drill oil in a protected wetland and the fact that they have a connection to Donald trump. Which places pressure on Greenland.

7) What media sources do you use to find out about news and current affairs?

BBC news, Wikipedia and articles.

8) What was the last film you watched?

its called mousetrap.

9) What is your favourite ever TV series?

I would say Brooklyn 99 due to it being nostalgic.

10) How many hours do you spend online in an average day? Is this too little, too much or about right? Why? (If you have an iPhone you can use Screen Time to get an accurate figure of how much you use your phone). 

average screentime is around 9 to 12 hours. this because I watch movies through my phone and I do research with it but mostly I've been doom scrolling .
